Supporting People Affected by Mental Ill Health. SHINE is a national organisation that supports individuals with lived experience of mental health difficulties and their families and supporters, to enhance their recovery, through the delivery of a variety of programmes and services, including: • Information and support • Individual recovery planning and support • Peer support groups • Recovery education. Shine also advocates for social change by promoting and defending the rights of all those affected by mental health difficulties to equal support and quality services. We specialise in supporting and educating individuals, family members and communities impacted by mental illness and stigma.
