Wicklow Montessori Primary & Pre-School

Wicklow Montessori is an independent, co-educational primary school, located on the outskirts of Wicklow Town and close to the M11. The school was established in 1978 and caters for children from pre-school to sixth class.

Our school is different to most primary schools, as we have created a teaching programme based on the Montessori method of education combined with the National Primary Curriculum as set by the Department of Education.

Montessori education provides the child with an environment ideally suited to the various stages of their development. The specialised Montessori equipment promotes hands-on, self-paced learning. Small class sizes allow the teachers to really get to know each child intimately.
